Any guesses on this handsome boy's mix? |
|
No matter what he is.... He's SO HANDSOME!!! |
I have no clue...........those eyes remind me of Glacier but I doubt there's Pyr in him. Tib "Terror?" Oh please, no pittie............ |
I would really question the results. Sheepie or Beardie is in there somewhere. But we love him no matter what! |
I *know* there is OES in there. We checked and it is one of the breeds they test for, so I might give em a call and ask for an explanation as to why it wouldn't show up. Some hints: The secondary breed is one that I guessed. It makes sense to me in several ways, especially his personality. The tertiary breed? Totally out of left field! It was fun either way and I'm happy to be able to tell people what he's a mix of now. |
Chinese Crested Hairless? LOL Aussie Shepherd? Golden Retriever? |
Saint Bernard. Beyond that...? Kristine |
Okay, here's me being a downer. I don't get canine genetic testing. In my mind it should all just come back.....wolf. Isn't that where they all started? How do they know how far back to look in the dna? Aren't some breeds "ancient" and some are relatively new? It seems a tad subjective to me. That being said, I am interested to know. I vote OES, no matter what. I can't see it being otherwise, and even if they insist they're right, if we all say OES, then so be it! Maybe some English setter? Those amazing blue eyes actually remind me of a neighbour's weimereiner (I know that spelling isn't even close, and I'm hanging my head in shame). The thicker head/jaw in that picture reminds me of a St Bernard, but I could sit here guessing all day. How long until you put us out of our misery and share? |
Ok, get your votes in then go here for results: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=34162 |
Rudy looks OES or Beardie to me but if not then HUKY/TERRIER. Marianne |
