Can't believe I'm asking this!!!!
Ok...Pirate is almost 8 and neutered. When I take him to the groomer I walk him before I take him in. He always has a bowel moment. But...(oh gosh!) while he is doing it, he has an erection! This is the only time I've ever noticed him with one. I asked him about it, but he won't answer. Why do you think this happens? |

In the spirit of keeping this a family friendly site (well, OK, maybe that ship has sailed - bootie pictures, tubal litigation stories, but anyway...  ) let's just say it's normal, it's mechanical (due to the pressure/exertion of defecating) and it's not, eh, what you think it is, i.e. he really isn't get his jollies that way. She is by far, the happiest, silliest, sweetest girl around! She has the best "dog" instincts ever! She comes across, well, not bright, but when our house was burglerized in the middle of the night, and Pirate and Keira slept through it, Lizzie chased the robber away! And acouple years ago, I slipped and fell on the ice walking Liz, and knocked myself out. It was freezing out, and even though I had dropped her leash, she stayed with me, and kept licking my face. The doctors said that stimulation to my "head" is what made me concious again and maybe kept me from getting hypothermia. We now call her, sheriff, parameditic Liz! She and my son are having a not too secret love affair. they are totally enamoured with each other. It's so funny. She gets all flirty when he comes over! Thank you for letting us foster her! The thing about Pirate...I didn't know if the scents of all the other dogs were gettin' to him, or it was just natural. Thanks. |
Aw...  I knew from the beginning she was a sweetheart, but wow...  Thanks so much for the update, and on Pirate too. Hopefully we can catch up with each other in person the not so distant future given how close we live!  And it struck me, back to your original question, that if it happened in the last few days, with the heat we've been having and all, maybe that was just Pirate's way of catching a breeze, cooling off so to speak...
