Virgil Tiberius Lindon: 9 Years Of The Boss Boy Today!!
 Today, Ch Tarawood's Invincible Explorer better known as Virgil tiberius Lindon turned 9 years old. While this may not be a huge birthday in the gand scheme of things it certainly is here at the Lindon household. Our big boss boy has not been in the best of health over the last few years with his epilepsy taking an ever greater toll on his body even though the seizures are under much better control the last two years (Ron I need a "knock on wood" emoticon here) and he is suffering a general slow down and weakness of his body due to a general immuno-deficieny that is associated with the epilepsy. But his mind is still as sharp as ever, he still challenges me for overal pack alpha status from time to time, but thankfully not daily as he did in his youth and he still has a few rambunctious moments with his little girl every day or two. It still warms my heart to see the two of them play the way that they do and that he always allows her to do things he would never tolerate any other pack member to even think about (eg., eat and drink from his bowl). He is always good for a surprise. In fact I still credit Dawn's return home in late 2009 as the reason he even made it to his eight birthday last year - family is good and essential to life!! Thanks Dawnie Doodle Bug.  I will spend extra time with this big boy today, get him out as much as this oppressively hot and life draining humid weather will allow and best of all for him he will get his traditional birthday CHEESBURGER cake!! Our kids love the occassional McDonalds cheesburger - meat and cheese only on the bun. No it is not a regular treat as that clearly wouldn't be healthy but once in a while on each kid's birthday it doen't hurt them. And the candle is a stick of marble cheddar cheese in the middle which the kids really love as well. Anyway, why not join in on our Virgie birthday celebrations by sharing an extra piece of cheese and/or special treat with your own kids around 5:00 pm eastern. Have a great day our beloved big son.
