What a cutie! Our first sheepie was a mix...our forty buck dog. Best forty bucks I ever spent. I will always have a special place in my heart for adorable mixes. Fingers crossed for a loving home very son. |
Isn't he just a smiling cutie-pie? I love him! Hopefully someone looking for a new hairy kid will too! |
Oh my lord - I am totally head over heals for this one! Every once in a great while I fall for one- he could be it. Anyone know about this place? Will they let him out of state ya think? Shellie |
Shellie, I just spoke with the shelter and below is a little more info... They think he's around 1 year old , already neutered. He showed a little too much interest in some kittens there... he did no harm, just mouthed them. He was in a home for 2 days... not sure if it was the German Shephard that didn't like him or the other way around. They recommend you bring family dogs to meet on neutral ground to get an idea of how they all will do. They can't mail or fax an application... you would have to stop in and visit Sam to complete the application. The lady I spoke with did not feel living outside of Ohio would be a problem. Call and speak with them to verify this and also to get more information. Hoping he might be a match for you!! Quote: Here's the shelter's info- http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/OH195.html Hours are: Monday through Friday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Closed Sunday and holidays. Thanks - I have to mull it over- it's a long drive. Still a possibility Shellie |
I calleed the shelter and they never returned my call from the message I left...........was in Ohio Sunday and would of considered picking him up if possible. |
It looks like they're closed Sundays according to the shelter info online. I had called at noon on Saturday and didn't get an answer so I checked their hours. I called again shortly after 1pm and a nice lady (obviously I didn't write down her name ) provided info. Shelters may not return long distance calls... I've spoken with some over the years that don't. I'm sorry that you couldn't at least visit Sam. Are you heading back that way anytime soon? |
While the link still works, I see this guy is no longer listed on the shelter's website! So, I guess he found a home! |
