Welcome to the community!!! Have you checked OESCA's breeder referral website? That can be a good place to start. |
Yes, I have been checking and have sent a few emails out with no replies. My search continues! |
At the risk of sounding like a parent, patience is king. That and you may have to be willing to travel for a quality breeder to get 'the' puppy. We were prepared to travel many hours and found one who was willing to meet us about half-way to deliver our new little girl. That happens next Saturday! Keep looking and keep asking. Vance |

And not on a weekend, generally speaking, as a lot of people are at shows then. Though it's unlikely most of these breeders would necessarily have a litter on the ground at any given point in time, they often know someone who does have a litter, or is planning one in the near future, and may be able to refer you that way. If you don't have a litter planned and you're really busy it probably feels less urgent to respond to e-mails. Too, not everyone is all that fond of corresponding via e-mail. So perhaps try a couple of phone calls and see if you get a better response that way. Good luck! Kristine |

Wanda, the breeder I'm working with openly admits she prefers phone over email. She only uses email to send photos. Keep on it... Lee |
