Introducing puppy to cat
The puppy will be here shortly, any suggestions introducing it to our 5 year old tabby? Shanks *the cat* is quite shy but very sneaky and will no doubt see the puppy before the puppy sees him. Any suggestions or past experiences with sheepies and cats meeting would be greatly appreciated. Cheers! |

| One of the other members recently asked the very same question, only in reverse! viewtopic.php?f=2&t=33400 Mainly, it's know your cat, use common sense, supervise-es[ecially at the beginning, and give the cat an escape route and a save (non dog) place. |
| I've YET to do well with the dog-cat intro thing. So many people success at it; I think my issue might be Tonks, and not the actual introducing at all!! Personalities make a really big difference, I think. |
