No most definatly not, they are not the norm but are perfectly acceptable. I like them better. |

Not a fault, but does relate to the gene that can cause deafness, if I recall correctly. This does NOT mean that a blue eyed dog is or will be deaf. |
i guess its just a personal preference ,but with a white head and blue eyes they look alittle anemic |
I agree that they are beautiful with blue eyes. Our Drez has one blue and one brown, and I would love for her to have two blue eyes, like Roger! And as Ron said, there is a correlation SOMETIMES between a two-blue eyed dog and deafness. That would have to be checked out by a vet.
