8 year old female Owner surrender at same shelter I got Rude Dog ("moving" was their reason) Seems to have had very good care, had a senior blood panel at their vet recently and is in good health 70-75lbs Passed her temp test (phew!) Lived with children Tested well with dogs, but her owners stated she can be a little dominant and has been in one dog fight on their relinquishment papers. She seemed happy to meet other dogs, and a bit disinterested. |

Yay Georgia! Hoping she now gets a great retirement home... |
I understand that there are circumstances beyond some people's control that make it necessary to give up a dog, but to see these seniors who have probably lived with one family their entire life show up in rescue makes me very sad. I hope she finds a wonderful home. Laurie and Oscar |
It makes me sad too, Laurie. She probably thinks her owners are coming back for her. We're looking for foster, in case anyone in the Chicagoland area is interested. |

I should clarify - my yay! was that she was in a safe spot now. Sad that she lost her family. Harley knows how that feels to lose your family as a senior |
Georgia was adopted today Thank you to Chicagoland OES rescue for the application referral! |
Oh, I'm so glad to hear that! She deserves a family that will love her in her dotage! Heather, thank you for working on behalf of this gal. Laurie and Oscar |
That is great news!!! |
Wonderful news! Thanks Heather! |
