| Elton, I'm deeply sorry of your loss. In your home, Murphy knew the love he had longed for those previous 3 years. Yours was the one he dreamt about and when he met you - his dream came true! He was lucky to have you and you we lucky to have him. As if it were meant to be. Time does hea,l but the grief when they pass seems so hard to bare. | You have my deepest sympathy for the loss of your Murphy. I too am very happy he was able to know what it was like to be loved. Rescues, in my opinion, seem to know and understand getting another chance. They seem to love more and cherish their fur parent. June 20, I lost my Gracie very unexpectedly at the age of 8+. She was also a rescue and I was owned by her for 5 1/2 years. I miss her so much it hurts. I have 2 others that are also rescues and someday when I am ready I will have another.
