FRANKIES HOME WITH WONDERFUL NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are home and have wonderful news to share with all of our sheepie friends.

He made it through everything very well today, he's very whiney right now. I think it's the morphine.
We'll start with Frankies shoulders. For those who don't know his complete history he has had a surgery on each shoulder.
In the xrays you can not tell he has ever had a problem with them or ever had surgery even.

His hips now are tight in there sockets, and he actually has a ball forming on his femur going into the hip socket.
The vet figures we are 70% reconstructed and back to normal. Thats saying we started in the negatives because Frankie was no where close to normal before. He still has some osteo arthritis in his hips, but in time it should all just be eaten away by the new growth. The vet mentioned we should have the procedure again in 2 years or so because there was so much work to be done.

We are so so so happy and excited. What a wonderful thing to have discovered. Hopefully this will be a break through for all the sheepies, and other breeds that need to have some type of orthopedic surgery on there hips.
Thank you for everyones prayers and support, I'm sure that helped this procedure to be a success.

That is what I was thinking. Frankie can be a poster child. I'm so happy for you and mostly for him...no more pain.
