I knew she was pretty good around other dogs, but she really shined today. I was a bit nervous about letting her off the leash, being her first time out like this; so I played it safe and kept her on it. As we were walking, we ran int to a group of five adults and kids walking five dogs, all unleashed. There were two mastiff mixes, (read BIG!!!) and three smaller Sheppard mixes and two of these were only 7 months old. We ended up walking along with them and it was a stress-free blast for me and Zoey. Just a few minutes after meeting (sniffing) the others, Zoey was wanting to walk, so we did. She did SOOO good that next time, sometime this week, we're gonna go again and try it without the leash. I took the camera, but it was tough to walk her and try to take photos too. I only managed to get like three shots of the Park itself. Next time Jen will be with me and photos will be had! Vance |

Good for you and Zoey! Glad you all had a nice time! |
Glad she had a good time! Being out with other dogs will hopefully help her out of her funk! It is hard on them too |
so glad things went well. Might just be what the doctor ordered for her. Also maybe the extra exercise will get her hungry enough to eat. |
Vance...You are doing all the rights things, getting Zoey involved and keeping her busy! She will be ok..it may just take a little time and alot of extra love, which I can see she is getting!!!!! |
