Let's flood them with pictures of Sheepies! |
|
They already have a pic of what appears to be an oes on the box of milkbones, so I doubt they'll pick one again, or anything that looks too similar.... they'll probably go with one of the top ten breeds.... just my thinking on it anyway.... |
There has been an OES (puppy I think) on their box for as long as I can remember. |
I'm sending in Clyde anyway. Since I can't show him, I'll have to make him famous some other way! |
I agree with you Willowsprite. They probably are looking to change up their boxes a bit... |
lol butterstotch. I have to agree with you on that:!: |
I went to the pet store today to do some reconnaissance work on this. All right, I had to get dog food but, while I was there, I checked out the box. Are you sure that's a sheepdog puppy? The colors and hair looked right but it looked very petite. Also it's on the box for the little biscuits. I think it may be a terrier in sheepdog's clothing.... |
That's why I said "what appears to be an oes" on the box... I don't think it is, but it looks almost identical to one. Still, I don't think they'll pick something that looks so similar....
I had entered a photography contest for Iams several years ago, with pics of my great dane Leah. We won first place and were given a years worth of free dog food (although their version of a year was 200 dollars worth, about 3 months for a great dane lol) as well as me sigining permission forms and contracts for them to publish the photos at any time they wish in ads or on tv, or anywhere they wished. Then a couple of years ago they contacted me asking if they could use her in a commercial, but by then she was gone I still haven't seen the pics I sent them published, however that doesn't meant they won't. They said they may use it immediately or years down the road.... |
I can't submit for Canadian residents, and they are not taking any puppies. The earliest is 2004. Sucks They LOVE milk bone. |
Oops, missed the "what appears to be part" Willowsprite. Either way, I don't care if we win if we can get free food out of it. How funny about your Great Dane-- $200 for a year! For my two 70 pound dogs it's about $100 every 2 1/2 weeks! |
Polish Lowland Sheepdog on the medium cookies. That's the size we give Pooh so I always get that box! |
I think the dog on the Milkbone medium size is a OES puppy. I always buy them because he is marked just like Tyler and I think of it as a baby picture of him since I don't have one. I hope they use another sheepie on the box... I will miss looking for my little friend. |
Josh if that's a Polish Lowland Sheepdog on the box I can certainly understand why many believe that is the founding breed of oes. Wow....lol... |
Coming soon, on a MB box near you . . . .
|
LOL... Yeah!!! |
Or how about.....
|

They have a bad rap and I would love to see a Pittie or an AM Staf on the box of Milk Bones! |
