The drive down was lovely. I had no idea it would be so pretty. We passed through six States to get there and I enjoyed each state we drove through. St. Louis is beautiful with the warmest friendliest people-not at all scary. The sheepie 'strangers' became instant friends and I miss them already. My car was too small to fit all the gorgeous dogs that I wanted to kidnap-but somehow they all eluded capture-that is the only downside of the trip, that I did not come back with at least one extra sheepie. |

Everyone must have been well fed, otherwise Americans eat Canadians. I'm sure that's what you expected. |

I'm glad the tornado scare didn't make you turn around and go home. Sorry I missed it(I love storms...the bigger and badder the better) It was great meeting you guys!!!!!! |
Susan, you kill me!!! I hate it when I hear Americans refer to everything between "The Coasts" (finger quotes) as fly-over country, as in, you wouldn't really want to land there. As you learned on your drive and visit, we folks in the middle of the country are pretty entertaining as well. Glad you had a great time. Still green with envy. Laurie and Oscar |
Glad you came--we loved meeting you, David and Mady! Hope to see you at the next one! |
