Video Highlights of our Trip to Alaska
The reason this is online is I am in the process of setting up a video casting channel for oes.org: http://justin.tv/oesorg The one video there I did as a test a day or two ago, I re-broadcast the trip highlights video I made about Joan and my big trip. There is a gigundo moose in Denali National Park (and a nice catch of a couple of sheep butting heads!), we took a 13 hour bus tour deep into the park, there's some decent stuff from that, too. I decided to scan it and find some relevant and good spots since it runs 40+ minutes: 8:30 normal moose at a rest stop 19:10 Iditarod museum and dog sled ride! 25:30 caribou, then giant moose in Denali 28:40 Dall sheep with a gorgeous background... don't miss the double head butt! There will likely also be an ad at the bottom, you can click on the X to get it out of the way. I put the video together after we returned home from our trip. My mother was in the hospital, and I wanted to (and did) bring in a laptop and showed her this video, which she loved watching. She passed on a few weeks later. There's maybe a bit too much Point of View from the driver's seat of my motorhome but, well, it served it's purpose to give a taste of the flavor of the big 44 week trip. I think the video only hangs around on justin.tv for a couple of weeks, so love it (or not) while you can! LOL |
