I don't know what limitations your cat has, we put our cats litter and food and water in our master closet and put in a small pet door. We used their favorite treats to get them to practice going back and forth. They were pro's at it very quickly and our 2 sheepdogs are no longer eating all the cat food and litter. |
Thanks thats a good idea. |
I had the same problem with Max, and I tried alot of different things. But the only thing that really worked for me was the LitterMaid self cleaning litter box. It was kind of pricey but worth it I guess to keep the furry babies healthy. Also it is alot easier to take care of that the old litter box. So that was an added bonus. No more scooping.
In case you have never seen these boxes, they clean the litter 10 seconds after the cat has left the box. You can see more about them at http://www.littermaid.com |
I have always wanted one of those...maybe now I have an excuse!!
Thank you much for the reply Now if I can just keep him out of the bathtub after someone uses it....LOL |
