 For those of you who haven't left for St. Louis and SHEEPIEPALOOZA 2011, just a reminder..... There are only 5 more days till the fun begins!!!! If you are like me, you will be working most of the week...so I thought I would give you a checklist for you to refer to BEFORE leaving...... S~~suitcase.....with upright clothes..from shorts to sweatshirts, we never know what St. Louis weather will be like, until that day...that hour...that minute~~~ H~~Hair ribbons for the girl sheepies...Hair bands for the boy sheepies. E~~EVERYTHNG else for your sheepdog..favorite toy, food,special treats. fan, poop bags, crate, grooming tools..etc. E~ EVERYTHING else for you and guests...favorite pillow, grooming tools, special treats, fan, MONEY (for the the live auction!!), first aid dog kit and first aid kid for the humans, your Garmon....etc. P~~ PLUS,,any thing not mentioned in this thread for you to have a great SHEEPIELOU weekend! I~INCLUDE...great music to listen to while driving, great comfy clothes for the long ride, sunglasses, drivers license, etc. E~Ewe's....just for fun!!!! (sorry but I am running out of Ethings)  P~Perfect weather...(please???????) A~ ALL the things I didn't mention...SunScreen, Sanitizer,Chair, umbrella (just in case), L ~~LET'S just say.. we DO have stores for any forgotten items..... O ~ OTHER things ~~playing cards, cell phone, hat, O ~more OTHER things~make sure you have 2 copies of your pup's shot record. One copy in your glove box with a picture of you and your dog and the name of your vet, with an emergency phone number. Put a sticker on the windshield noting that dog info is in the glove compartment. Seatbelt for the pupper...for everyone's safety. AND don't forget to wear YOUR seatbelt at all times!!!!! Z~~ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz~~get plenty of sleep for your long trip! A~~ALL of you will have the BEST TIME....and so will ALL of us just being together, enjoying this great city, enjoying each other's company, enjoying each others sheepies..... EVERYONE IS ST. LOUIS CANNOT WAIT TO SEE ALL OF OUR FRIENDS WHO HAVE ATTENDED IN THE PAST YEARS....and....MEETING ALL OF OUR NEW FRIENDS THAT ARE ATTENDING FOR THE FIRST TIME!!! PLEASE DRIVE SAFELY, CALL IF YOU NEED US, HAVE A GREAT TIME !!!! LOVE   The STLOES Club |

| Just five more days...guess I better get cracking. I have to clean out my car and try to figure out how to fit two crates in there. I don't want to listen to six plus hours of BARK, BARK, BARK...in my ear, or drooling on my head. Although I have to be sneaky and pack dogs suitcase when they are not looking. If they know that something is up they starting bouncing off the walls. |
A very thorough reminder, thanks Val!!! Like Pam, I'm going to start the sneaky packing tonight. Charm's gear is slowly disappearing from the house to a giant pile in the garage.  |

| The list of items to take for Bogey and Gigi is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy longer than the one for us. Hope we have room in the van! I have spent so much time on their "outfits" and have no idea what I am bringing to wear. All will be comfortable. My husband has even had signs made for the van. You will see how nuts we are when we get there. Oh and Gigi is bringing something to Heart from Florida. She told me not to say anything. So tell Heart to act surprised! We are leaving in a few minutes to go to the ortho in Orlando for Gigi. Will update later. |

Got all the dogs back from being boarded and farmed out... repacked.....and left for St Louis by 7am on Friday!!!  It was truly insane.....  |

Karen and Dawn (and everyone else who is going through a very hectic week, month, year)???? Consider the Sheepiepalooza trip a spa vacation for both you and your pupper!!! A relaxing, calm, serene, insightful, Zen-like experience to reflect and contemplate the meaning of the importance of pure enjoyment with your wonderful OES~~~~  if anything else has been forgotten, please add to this list...It is extremely hard to think and type and, at the same time pet 3 dogs who are mad that I am thinking and typing....  |

We may start some SECRET packing tonight. Basically setting things out in a stealthy manner...so that Iz doesn't realize what we are doing. She can be a genius/ninja about these things....you think she's in another room and then you feel someone staring at you...so we have to be careful. If she realizes what is happening she will stick to us like glue and get upset if we leave the house without her...especially when we go to work tomorrow. So...lists are started...but actual packing is delayed until closer to departure.  |

Although it will all be off tomorrow, as I will start to pack during the day tomorrow, then gone for the evening teaching my classes. And then, up early Friday to start the drive to Sheepiepalooza!! |
| I started my list last week and finished it over the weekend. I'm mostly packed right now with everything in plain sight. So far Brick hasn't gone nuts. But the stuff has been sitting there for days. I'll do most loading tonight with a final quick load of mine & Brick's personal stuff and we will be heading to STL. Plan to leave around 4AM EST and arriving in STL around 6PM CST. |
