It is waaay faster though.... I love it so far....

Congrats, Stacey! All our computers are Dell's and we've been very satisfied with them. Laptop or desktop? If laptop, wireless? The laptop we bought our son for graduation last year is wireless, and he is in heaven, being able to walk around anywhere and still be connected. Of course, they still become obsolete much faster than I'd like, but what can ya do?  Today's technological world is amazing!
As for posting the picture I sent you via e-mail, I guess I did it right after all, cause Ron already posted it. Thanks for the offer! Have fun with your new toy.  You'll be AMAZED at how fast it is!!

| Well everything runs great and I am very happy with it, but it doesn't get along with out other computers which is a major pain in the butt... I really need the network to be accessible by all machines, especially this one! LOL
I'm taking a break from making that work for now though and just enjoying it, setting up my favorites, and all that fun stuff, played a couple of games on it to see what it can do. The video card in this thing is phenomenal, and with a gig of ram, upgradeable to four gigs, I'll be laughing for a while...lol... It's a pentium 4 with the hyperthreading technology, 3.2 ghz processor, 160 gig hard drive, gig of ram, 128mb video card with somethin something...lol...... the sound is amazing, nice big flat screen monitor, plays dvds better than our dvd player (it has dvd r/rw too but I haven't thought of a use for that yet).... looks better and sounds better than our tv... I'm quite happy with it. Windows xp pro with sp2 and a bunch of other cool software that I'm going to try out, and of course get rid of all the junk they put on it like aol etc...lol...
We've been so busy though, this is the first time all day I've had a chance to even touch it...lol... so off I go to find more cool stuff.... |
