Sounds like a fun encounter! Did you get any deals at the car boot sale? (so fun just typing that! ) |
It is so much when we see another one! |
Here in the States, a car boot is the thing they lock around a wheel of your car if you have too many parking tickets. The car can't be driven with a boot on. But it's always neat to see another sheepie (or 'dale) when they are rare in your area. I think I've only seen 3 or 4 sheepdogs in central New York in my whole LIFE. And I've only seen 4 or 5 Airedales in CNY in my life. |
(like a garage sale but cars park in a field and sell stuff out of their car boots!) here in the us, some people do that at night, but they are NOT sheepie people. lol |
I just LOVE IT when I meet a sheepie unexpectedly. |
got lots of bargains from the boot sale (thought I best explain what it was as I know different things here mean different things!!) nice pine book shelves for £2. cd/radio.cassette player for £2.50 (my sisters neighbour is 92 and loves her cassettes and her machine has just broken.) Lots of kids books, 20p each. Duvet cover for grandson (power rangers) £1.50. Kitchen clock for 50p. and lots of other bits and bobs, toys mostly as grandson is 4 this week. . Trouble is spend all weekend going round car boots and then rush round Monday trying to catch up on housework! |
