Snoring?

Do your dogs snore? Neither of mine snored until rcently when the older one ( now 4 years ) started to snore a bit...Almost sounds like he has a stuffed nose while sleeping at night. Other than at that time, he is fine, happy, eating and pooping just like normal. But at night, he starts this snoring sounding thing. Is this normal????

Chewie snores...but only in the car....
He started doing that about 1-2 yrs ago.
yeah, they both do now. I'm surprised it took this long. Like humans, as we age things get softer inside. I think Harry is the only nonsnorer in the house, upright or 4 pawed. Poor guy, what a gentleman not to mention it.
Oscar only snores when he is in certain sleeping positions, like upside down, so it's not very often.

Sounds completely normal to me.

I sleep next to a fog horn DH and the dogs do at times snore as well. I wish at times I had ear plugs :plead: between DH and the odd dog the snork fest overnight can be worse then a thunder storm   Most of the time he gets the kick in the back and the blame and it turns out it was not him but one of the pooches.  :twitch:

I do find as they get older, not DH, the doggies they do seem to sleep heavier and deeper and snore on occassions.
Both of the boys snore occasionally. Not all the time--but when they get going along with the three kitties who snore--it is quite a chorus! :D
IThank you for the responses! My first OES, didn't snore at all until he was much older - like 10. Then he started to snore. he lived to be almost 15 years old...

My two now didn't snore at first and now the male, at age 4 and a half is starting to snore a bit. But now that I think about it, maybe its really my DH! I will have to pay special attention to that...My poor dogs get blamed for all sorts of things my DH does
Ear plugs! Worked like a charm until I decided I needed more more on a bed and moved to the guest room.
My three girls snore, not all the time though. Some nights it may be more then one snoring. It's funny because sometimes I blame the dogs snoring on my hubby.
Ha ha this made me laugh.

George snores so loudly we have to turn the TV up.

He has always done it from being little but the older he gets the louder he gets!

By the time he is 10+ you will hear him in the US!
My golden snores soooooooooooo loud I swear the walls bulge and the curtains come out!!!

I needed more more on a bed

huh?!?! :cow:  :twitch: :lmt:
yep my boy snores for britain, doesnt help that he sleeps on his back all night either, if i dig him he snorts then starts again.

my girly, well obviously she doesnt snore (girls dont do we) but she wimpers and gives little barks.

still working on getting them to sleep on the floor and not my bed, but its a losing battle.
Bella doesn't snore but she does sometimes bark in her sleep. I think she must be dreaming about herding the cat around the yard. :excited:
Luna snores, as does one of my cats. When they two of them are in the bedroom going at it, it can be pretty funny. :P
