Jim and I live in SE MI and have had one Sheepie, many years ago. Of all the dogs that have crossed our door threshold since then, Laker has remained the most memorable. We became possessed in 1976 while living in the Upper Pen., of MI where the freightors(Lakers) ply the water--hence the name. We presently have 5 other muttleys, that include a Shep/Rottie, Shep/Dobie, Lab/hairy thing and 2 deaf boxers. Fortunately we also have a large yard and a large easy to clean mudroom. Anyway--we may be with puppy. Earlier than we had thought but Jim retires in July so the time and person is there. Ive checked the breeder out everything sounds legit and a St. Breeder on another dog forum knows of them and respects their efforts. The on-line Q&A has gone well. If Mom is prego(ultrasouond coming soon), they've asked for vet reference and others and ultimately a meet and greet! . Please keep your paws crossed : |

Hello from Tennessee and welcome back!! Hope all goes well with the ultrasound! |
Hi guys Congratulations on the puppy. We love the U.P. We have a place in Presque Isle Welcome from SE Michigan also. I wanted to ask where your breeder is located if you don't mind. We got our sheepie from a breeder who also breeds St Bernards, and was wondering if it was the same place. Hoping all goes well, if your close maybe we can have play dates. Lisa |
