Lily keeps getting called a boy

I have been looking for new ways to girl up Lily. Even with bows in her fur everyone still tells me what a handsome boy I have. 8O

I was trying out a template for flowered hair clips and made it way too big for someones hair. so I modified it so it would fit over a collar. Hopefully now no one calls her a boy anymore.

Flower (it still has glue all over it)

Here is the how to video in case anyone wants it. I hot glued it all. The link template is on there there too but I didnt use it.

You could probably modify it to be really small too and use it for hair bow/flowers for top knots by attaching a hair band to it.

Cute and thanks for the vid on how to do. :clappurple:
Lily looks all girly to me even without the flower  :D

Funny how large breeds everyone says "love your Boy" I think with all the hair they cant see whats hanging or not and presume a boy dog.

Love the rose bud, way gorgeous and carefull she might want more girly bling to follow the collar rose

She makes the PERFECT girly model.

Lol, I think it's a little late for that. Shes already pretty prissy, spoiled and
:hearts:LOVES :hearts: her bling. Her puppy collar was a pink leather collar with attachable rhinestone letters that spelled out Lily, with pink rhinestone hearts on both sides.
My mothers calls all dogs boys, and all cats girls. And she is not the only one I have met like that. She still refers to Mady as 'him'.
Well, we need to swap people with Lily.

Chewie gets called a "she" more often than "he"

Oliver is the same. Everyone calls him a "she". As long as he's getting attention he doesn't care though!
Mine are often called the wrong gender. It seems to me that people tend to use whatever pronoun they use for their own dog. If they have a girl, they refer to your dog as her and if they have a boy, he. I think it is just a matter of habit. I also think people with dogs of both genders are more likely to try and determine the correct one or say something gender neutral. Next time it happens, check what is the gender of their dog and see if it is a match . . .

The bow is really pretty but I would not be surprised if people still sometimes slip and say he.
duffy always gets called dreamers sister since duffy is so much smaller they think he is a girl but still acts like one too
I agree with Valerie regarding the sex of the dog. Most people think my Black face Tri Aussie is a male, resently on more then one occasion she was called a bear. Of course once they see her face they always say how beautiful she is. Which she used to be ignored when she was out with China and Violet. Asia has now come into her own and is a beauty.
People have, on many occasions thought that China, my blue eyed merle Aussie was Violet's, OES, puppy or that China was an OES also. I guess my point is that there is a lot of confusion on in this world.
A lot of people default to Mady being a boy, probably because she is a big dog. A lot of people also say "of course she's a girl" when they notice her top-knot. Which would complicate things for all the boy sheepies with top-knots... Big pink and flowery accessories will likely make most people think she's a girl for sure.
Izzie doesn't care what people think she is as long as they keep scratching her butt 8)

I mostly get that people think she is still a puppy...and I think to myself...I hope not...she weighs over 70 pounds. 8O
They all say my billy is gay, one person said he was the gayist dog in congleton!!
So he has a hairdoo... and loves being groomed.. and getting dressed up.. nails done..
but in the end they just call him gay.. not a girl!!
