You see, she told me her cat suffered from heat stroke once. The room the cat was kept in and who sits in the window got too much sun. I asked the obvious - why don't you move the cat to another room? Well, my living room has a large picture window and a robber could see my beautiful cat through it. Someone might break the window and steal the cat! I was at a loss for a response. |

Sometimes the kindest thing is just that, a non verbal shake of the head. And an eye roll for good measure |
......and try very hard not to burst out laughing as you exit the store. |
Someone misunderstands the term "cat burglar" .... |
Someone I know has an irrational fear that someone will break into their home and shoot their dog. |
Marianne, you were so much more gracious than I would have been. The clerk would have needed to call 911 to rescue me from breathless fits of laughter. Geez, she doesn't have to worry about someone taking the cat. Seems she will kill it off on her own. Stupid is as stupid does. |

Yes, better a beloved cat die a horrible and completely avoidable death...... As Ron White always says, "You can't fix stupid." Laurie and Oscar, who has more sense than a store clerk |
Your responses had me chuckling! |
