Shane did said that he wants to wait for the ground to dry out a bit then we can come over to play. Photos and videos of the first trip will be posted. I'll keep everyone posted about a group outing as well. I saw the post from Eastern PA and I'm stoked about this. For anyone interested, Shane lives near Lewisburg, OH. Vance |

Sounds like fun! At our place it's the same. We have everybody penned in the barn for awhile, to let the ground firm up, dry out and the grass get a head start. Good timing, as we are lambing, so easy to keep an eye on them all! |
That sounds like fun-can't wait to see the pictures! |
So who would be up to bringing their sheepie out for an day of romping around with some sheep? Just how many other sheepies are near enough to Dayton, OH to make a day of it? Vance |
Oh how lucky you are! I'm very jealous and wish I lived closer to you as I'd unashamedly try to garner an invite as well! It reminded me of years ago moving out to the suburbs and discovering that there existed a farm near my area in which the owners would allow dog owners to walk their pets on the property. At the time I owned Shaggy and was delighted to come across the sheep one day. Although Shaggy was a city dog, within seconds of seeing the sheep and touching noses with a lamb - she rounded them up and returned them to the barn. These days the only things my guys round up is the cats - which aren't too impressed about being herded by dogs. yes! Please post a vid or pics when you go - would love to see them! Marianne |
