Who Plays the 187-year-old Woman in the Raymond James Ad?
"The Woman Who Lived Longer Than Any Person Who Has Ever Lived" And the answer is: At first I thought it was Frances Sternhagen, who played Cliff's mother on Cheers", The chief's mother on "The Closer" and about 50 or 60 other roles going as far back as the 1960's. But now I don't think so. Anybody? |

| It's NOT Olympia Dukakis. She looks a lot like Anne Shropshire, a character actress who played the creepy babysitter in "Tootsie," but I don't think it's her either. I'm really curious to find out who it is. |
| Years ago, I worked for a computer mapping company where we had WAAAAAY too much time on our hands. One of the things that we all got REALLY good at was internet searching. We learned that it's not how you search, but where. So to quell Ron's quest, I searched the ad itself. Found out that it was written and produced through an ad agency in Minneapolis, MN named Martin-Williams. I then found their site and simply emailed the PR person Ron's question. This was late last night. At 9:50AM this morning, I got a very nice and polite note from a one Andrea Eilers, Sr. Producer stating the following: Hi Vance, Thanks for your inquiry regarding Raymond James talent. There were two ladies that played Emily Skinner. Young - Kate Hughes Old - Patricia Loveland Patricia is in the upcoming Dustin Hoffman film, Quartet. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks, Andrea Eilers Martin | Williams Advertising Sr. Producer Mystery solved... Vance |
