He came from a Taiwan rescue and according to his info page, the 18 month old weighs 42 pounds. He looks like a happy and active boy despite some vision loss. Just sharing in case anyone is looking to adopt. http://scgrrescue.org/RP_AdoptMe.asp?aid=1040 Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue Resource: Living With Blind Dogs: A Resource Book and Training Guide for the Owners of Blind and Low-Vision Dogs, by Caroline D. We absolutely cannot take in another dog at this time, particularly due to Rudy's issues. But I have to share that this boy has been in my thoughts, nonstop, since I read about him. I think I'm in love. I really, REALLY need to stop coming to this thread. But I know there's no way I'll ever stop. Fingers crossed he gets the fantastic home he deserves really fast. |
me too, i'd take him in a heartbeat. I'm sure he'll be placed very soon - such a happy bouncy boy!! |
