Maybe he has some sort of metabolic issue - maybe he isn't digesting proteins properly? Have you notified your breeder? This may be hereditary. I hope you figure out what is wrong - please let us know. |
Is the Iams food color and preservative free? I guess I'm wondering if there is just something in commercial kibble that's at least contributing to your baby's problem. I would talk with a vet to see if there is a diet more balanced in protein/fat/carbs that will meet your puppy's dietary needs so he will grow properly yet control his seizures. If it were me, I'd go with home cooking if at all possible with the approval and strict supervision and guidance of my vet. You mentioned he chewed on your phone cord. Letthe vetknow this./ Sometimes they can get an electrical shock from chewing on cords & it will cause seizures. Had a mixed breed years ago that this happened with. |
