That doesn't bother Barney, but my previous Collie would come running to me whenever I sneezed. He could be sleeping at the other end of the house and a sneeze would send him running to me. He could be outside and if I wanted him to come in quickly I would just fake a sneeze.  |
| My wife's aunt had a sheltie ta barked and went nuts everytime you sneezed, acted like you were going to sneeze, brushed your teeth, vacuumed, opened plastic garbage bags.....he also aays barked at minivans and trucks...not cars.
Sadly, he's no longer around, but it was very funny to watch! |
| Chelsea barks like an angry old fishwife and simultaneously wags her tail as if to ask "you aren't dying are you?" when we sneeze. She even knows the difference between a fake one and a real one. Sometimes we say "achoo" to show someone how she reacts and she just looks at us like "oh please".

| Count Burcwen as one who freaks over sneazing. If she is sleeping at the other end of the house she will jump up and come racing to wherever you are and jump up on your lap and look you straight in the eyes with much concern as if to say "ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!?!?!?!" Then, upon being told I survived, she will congratulate me my exhuberantly licking my face and sheepie nipping my ear. If I am at my desk when this happens, she will cap off the whole event by attacking my desk chair legs with gusto, chomping on those caster wheels as if life depends on it.
What is especially funny is when, however, I am in the kitchen or something when I sneeze. She will jump up out of a sound sleep and immediately race from room to room desperately looking for me! Once I hid on her to see what she would do, and after a few minutes she gave up the search and just went straight to attacking the desk chair for good measure! |
| Our dog, Harley, goes nuts when I blow my nose. I can just grab a tissue and put it up to my nose and he will start barking at me. Once I blow, even a little, he will start howling. We can keep him going after foe quite a while. |
