canal pup
Three days ago while driving home from work, best friend's husband, Jake saw you running on a busy highway. While weaving through cars, Jake saw you fall into a deep canal, he jumped in and saved you. Jake's wife kept you company in a police car to the Animal Shelter thinking it was a temporary place for you to stay until they find someone to adopt you. Plus having just moved to the area the week before, they didn't know how their two dogs would behave around you in a different environment. Yesterday after work, Jake visited you at your "cell" to see if you were safe - not only Jake saw a beautiful girl who was no longer afraid but realized you had the sweetest deposition. Your soft howl and kisses sold him. That evening he talked with his wife and they made a decision that today, they were to adopt you. This morning at the shelter, they didn't bring you home, they brought home regrets- you were put to sleep 1 hour after Jake last saw you.
