I have used Picasa, it worked great, but lately it freezes. Any suggestions for easy to use programs? thanks, peg (not a computer techy) |

My camera's all have their own downloading program, which comes with the camera. But I tend to use Bridge, which is part of Photoshop |
I use the program that came with my Canon camera. I do like to use Picasa for emailing pictures and re-sizing them. I haven't ever used it to download from the camera though--sorry I'm no help there. |
On my laptop (ASUS) I use the windows live program that came with it. It is easy and dependable, but lacks some of the advanced features. But in general, it does the trick for photos. However, it doesn't edit videos with this basic program |
Hi Peg, I use picasa too, and have noticed the same freeze after the last upgrade. I'm hoping it is a glitch that will be remedied soon. I do love the program ease and effects. |
I don't use any. I use a card reader. Pop the card out of the camera, stick it in the card reader, drag the file from the card reader location to the folder where you keep your pics. That simple. |
Thanks for the suggestions. I like picasa because it was easy to use, hopefully it will be fixed with the next upgrade. My camera came with a program, it does not work right. I have wasted so much time struggling with it. I gave up. The card reader...hmm. I am going to look into it. I am not computer savvy, and really don't enjoy problem solving when it comes to programs. Thanks for the ideas, peg |
