Contact lenses via mail?

| I have ordered in the past from www.1800contacts.com and was pleased with the service. It was correct and quick shipping - no problems. I just placed an order last week with www.replacemycontacts.com because the price difference was significant. The total including shipping was 1/2 the price for 3 boxes vs. the other companies price for 2 boxes. It's been 9 days and I haven't heard a thing - I just logged in and found a note on my order that says: Quote: Order Status: Incomplete Process Status: Order unconfirmed, cannot be processed. I did not receive an email notice or anything so I placed a call and have yet to reach anybody. They have not charged my card, for what that's worth. When I was price shopping, 1800contacts, visiondirect, lens.com and justlenses.com were about the same prices for my contacts. replacemycontacts.com was much less....but obviously that's not working out! Those are the only two companies I've dealt with. |
| The update to my order issue: when I reached a real person at www.replacemycontacts.com, I was told my order was never completed (as in I never hit submit). That seems far-fetched since I was looking at the order right there in my account on their website and it even had an order number. But for whatever reason there was a glitch and the order was never submitted. For the cost savings I'm willing to try one more time, so I'll resubmit that order later today. I'll let you know how it goes. |
