oh my, she is a big cute girl! |
Oh, my heart be still But imagine the grooming sheepie or Kom??? |
Oh my. I am totally in love. Her beautiful face is almost enough to make me stop being bitter about the fact that it's 4:19 in the morning, and after listening to my husband snore for more than an hour I finally gave up and headed to the computer room. Ah, the magic of a sheepie face. |
Oh, what a doll! I would love to cuddle with her. Such a beautiful girl. I hope she finds a terrific home. |
All white, 85 lb female at 8 mos old....holy smokes, that's gonna be one big baby. What do koms look like as puppies? Kristine |
What a pretty baby!! |
8-month old Komondor Puppy: Can weigh up to 125 pounds. http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/komondor.htm |

We could have a road race to AR for this girl (DH says no way........spoil sport) |
It's probably a good thing she's in AR - otherwise i'd be begging my husband to go get her! she seems so gentle too (from the sit/stand photo). Aww. I hope whoever adopts her joins this forum so we can get our oes/komondor fix. |

Kristine That I can help with: 10 weeks: 5.5 months (about 75 pounds): About one year (and the ugliest time in their lives, about 110 pounds): 5 years old (about 125 pounds and about 7 feet long from tip to tail) That dog looks like it has Kom coloring with a lot more of the OES coat quality? I'd guess this mix to be Pyr and Kom, though, the more I look at it. The all white color, the coat quality, size-- it makes more sense but I guess I couldn't tell without seeing it and touching it. It doesn't have any of the crimp that the Kom coat does and it looks softer in the pictures. Definitely brushable. At no time in Bear's life (that we had him) did he ever seem brushable! For the record, that was the mix that I thought I was getting when I first inquired about Bear. He wound up being pure Komondor and we thought we'd give him a try anyway. He is hands down, the craziest dog we've ever had but he's hilarious and we love him. |

In fact, they're more than enough most of the time. My smallest dog is 90 pounds so if I break them down in Kristine dog sizes, I actually have more like 5 dogs anyway. |
