Dachshund - Foreclosure victim
Elroy, 2 Year old Male Dachshund (neutered), weight #17. Elroy is a very loving Dachshund with very good house manners. He has no aggressive tendencies, his goal is to be snuggled as close to someone as close and as long as he can. He is a lover!!! I don’t know if he has had any formal training but when walked on a leash he almost heals instinctively. When I met Elroy, he was going to be euthanized the following day because his former family had been evicted and could not take him with them. I saw the qualities of this animal and decided that I could not allow this to happen, so I took him home with me. I have an inside cat who has been with me for over 10+ years, and after all that time he has started spraying inside the house since Elroy has come into the house! I need to find Elroy a new home ASAP. I love all animals, but the cat has seniority. Elroy's former family had other dogs and they got along well, so I feel he would do well with other dogs. They had teenage kids which he got along well with. He gets so excited when my 15 year old daughter comes home! I have been told that he has had all of his shots, and been neutered (Obvious), but I have no documentation. I am currently Cage Training him when I am not at home, but when I am home he has run of several rooms and has shown himself to be a very good dog, no destructive tendencies. He is not a barker.
