now dats a talented sheepie, definitely not an uncoordinated doofus. |
Wow! I think he might be able to play on ANY American Soccer team! Would certainly be my favorite player! |
Wow, great hand/eye coordination! And he thinks his way out of trouble. Wonder if he'll share some smart brain cells with these guys. |
Izzie loves to kick her tennis balls around. She has also punctured several soccer balls when picking them up with her mouth Her favorite way to exercise Melissa and I is to kick her tennis balls around and then knock them down the stairs. It is then our job to go down the stairs, pick up the ball and bring it back. This could go on for hours if we kept fetching the balls. |
I'm my son's assistant coach of my Grandson's Under 8 team. If your Sheepie is under 8 years of age we could really use him! We had a tough season last year and could use a good dribbler. Can he pass? He does seem to be a bit if a ball-hog. |

I'm going to have to find a tougher ball after watching that video. She doesn't like tennis balls and she's destroyed every other reasonable size ball I've bought her in under 10 seconds. I'm thinking a light weight basket ball. |
I wonder if a lacrosse ball would hold up? Maybe an indestructible ball from Nylabone? Do they make one? I have a giant chew bone from Nylabone that has roundish indestructible ends on it. That would be good for the fun, maybe not so good for the walls/furniture. |
nico's slightly deflated well used soccer and basketballs held up through thick and thin play with his brother. don't remember whether we got used soccer balls from teams, but i don't think my youngest played hard enough to wear 'em out. he sure was happy carrying around that soccer ball, all mine, no you can't have it. |
Our first OES, Merlin LOVED to play soccer with our oldest son and his buddies, all through my son's high school years and afterward. He could even carry the #5 ball around in his mouth. After my son graduated, most of the soccer playing happened on college breaks. I will never forget seeing Merlin prance and dance and almost wet himself with joy and excitement when he saw my son's soccer buddy standing in the entry to our house. It had been a few months since the guys were around to take out to play. |
