I hope these guys arent' part of the auction group from a couple months ago. Brighton would be the closest animal shelter to Bennet where the auction was held. Brighton has grown to be an OK town, but their shelter isn't. |
I didn't even think of that, Devra! But I don't think these two boys are from that group of 5. The auction was for 4 females and 1 male. http://photos.oes.org/displayimage.php? ... fullsize=1 Based on the names in the auction ad, it looks like two of the bitches and the stud dog went on to produce a litter (December 23, 2010) or will soon be producing a litter (March 2011). I'll send you a PM with the info. Anyway, according to the info on Petfinder, Animal Control will require these two boys be neutered... Quote: Our fees: dogs- $100 adoption fee; cats- $50 adoption fee; all other pets -$8.00-$20.00. The adoption fees include the spay/neuter, all vaccinations, a microchip, and microchip registration. http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/CO27.html |

The two boys were turned over to rescue. One came to Colorado OES rescue. Today, we had the pleasure of taking the final transport leg (Denver to Mesquite NV) to introduce him to his new family. Meet Tappy, formerly homeless in Denver, now happy in a new home! He was given the name Tappy because he will tap his front feet when he's happy (think Gene Kelly). He did just that when the COOES volunteer went to see him at the shelter and he hasn't stopped. |
Oh wonderful! Thank you for the update! |
Great work gals!!! |
THANK YOU!! |
