Heck of a birthday today. I should have crawled back into the hole with the groundhog in Pennsylvannia for warmth. No birthday cake, no ice cream, no margaritas, and now no dinner until he leaves which may be 7:30 pm or later. Pooooor me. Haha, the repairman just came out of the laundry room to get an item from the truck and met the wall of sheepdogs crammed up against the laundryroom door, LOL! "Ah, assistants! Thank you for your supervision." At least he has a sense of humor. |

Hey, that groundhog was cute! But, sorry about the heat....or lack of it! And darn cold down there too. Dog hair? who has dog hair?...I say blame it on a cat. And your birthday too? I'd be really bummed. Happy Birthday!! May the warm colored wording and the candles at least give the illusion of warmth!! |
Well, Happy Birthday ANYWAY!!!!! Hiding? |
Oh I hope things get better and warmer fast! Happy Birthday!!! |
Happy belated birthday! I'm glad it was fixable. Some of the people in the DFW area are having trouble keeping their heat on due to the low gas pressure from very high demand. |
awwwwwwwwwwww Susan.............HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you!!!! Maybe we should plan that trip to the Santa Fe Opera for this summer....... NOW We can go to Rancho de Chimayo or Bishops Lodge for Rita's and Rellano's?!!! |
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! |
Hope your warm now and can have a happy birthday a day late. |
It wasn't dog hair it was beetle wing covers ?? No clue how they got into the pump from the condenser. NOW, the well/pump is frozen....it did get to -11F last night. No water, no a.m. coffee, shower, etc . Not enough snow around to melt. What next, the sewers freeze? Could be as it is some fangled Swiss design and the pipes are quite small.......suction based, not gravity. Just a 1,000 feet down the road is a section that regularly breaks, flooding the alfalfa fields with stinky water. Poor farmer hasn't had a crop in several years do to contamination. Rolling natural gas blackouts, hope they don't roll here. Now that it's past 10 a.m. hopefully the crisis is over. At least we've had electricity the whole time, no ice storms here! What would I do with y'all to keep me company! Found some cherry ice cream in freezer and chocolate wine in the wine bin. Birthday dinner. |
Cherry Garcia and chocolate wine sounds like a great invitation! I hope your pump is OK. Leave the water running a bit when the temps get down that low. |
put a 1500 watt heater in pump house, thinking of moving in there......it's warm!!!! So we are unthawed and all the crud scraped off the frozen pipes clogged faucets, screens all clean now. Water, heat, will turn down heater in pump house. Veggie pizza tonight......using that precious natural gas while the state having black outs. Shame on me. |
