Sheepiepalooza CARAVAN thread!!!!!!
Anyone needing or wanting company while driving to this wonderful event needs to post HERE!!! After all ~~ power in numbers~~~the more the merrier~~~more than 3 is a party~~oh...heck...you all know what I mean!!!!!! So far, dogmom and got sheep may caravan from MN. Is there anyone else wanting to be added this 'wagon train'? Or~~~Is there anyone coming from other areas, willing to coordinate their locational caravan????? |

| There's a few members that live near the NYS Thruway and other parts in the state. I'm sure we could get a 3 or 4 car convoy together. Who else from NYS is going? |

| Unless plans changed for this year, it is the weekend of Memorial Day. Chosen for the weather (nicer there than MN, but not yet too hot.. although it still was more heat than we and the dogs are used too!) and for the extra Monday off that most people have from work to accomodate driving without needing to take another vacation day. We usually drove down on Friday (it's an 8 hour drive), getting there about supper time. Did all the fun and activities all weekend. Stayed over Sunday night and drove home on Monday. Worked out very smoothly  |

My brother is getting married in St. Louis that weekend, so I'm trying to talk hubby into letting us go to Sheepiepalooza...since we'll already be in STL and all  . Fingers crossed! Even my MIL wants to come see all the sheepies! |

It was clean and had a nice outside area for the dogs. I didn't hear of anyone misbehaving so I think we can go back and not hang our heads in shame.  Val, Judi, can we get a group rate? | I know we are having another meeting in March to review details for Sheepiepalooza 2011. I know, that the PearTree loved all of the Sheepdogs (and I am assuming their 'parents') in 2009, so I am hoping that they will be happy to see us again. As far as group rates...I will have to check on that and get back to you all!!! ~~~ Is there anyone coming from FL that can caravan with suzptcruise???? |

| I will talk with Suzie. The problem for us is we are making it a week long or more trip - stopping to visit friends and other sheepies. I checked out the hotel in St Louis -- perfect! we are smokers and they have smoking rooms! We will be able to caravan with the Nashville sheepies. We have people to visit there too. |

I did see that Paula! That'd be great! The more the merrier!!!  You're more than welcome to hitch a ride if you'd like. It may be just me and the pups so a friend to ride with would be much appreciated! |
