Now it seems we are really going to get hit..big time. Starting in the morning and ending on Thursday. Blizzard warnings are out...up to 18inches and blowing. South of us, Chicago, will be worse, and south of them...worse...ICE. We got a few inches today and I went out and re-arranged it (off the driveway). I think the snow blower will get a work out in the next few days. Oh yea. Whens Spring? I really need to move south. |

Or take up dog sledding! I know those boys have enough energy We had snow from last night, all overnight, all day today. I have no accurate guess as to how much, as it's blowing.... And the wind is supposed to continue all day tomorrow, along with lighter snow. But, I am really glad it's all snow and NO ice! |
We are bracing for the snowstorm here too in southern Ontario, it is expected to arrive Tuesday night. I can not complain, the winter has been pretty easy on us this year, not too much snow, just cold. I'll get out my snowshoes. peg |
I agree with Dawn, take up sledding or some activity that will make you enjoy winter, even if just a bit. Now having said that, it is -17 today here in Ottawa, so tough to enjoy that but Mady loves it! |
We are soooo excited for the snow! We have our snow pants out and ready to go. We're also crossing our paws that they'll cancel court tomorrow! |
We had a little ice in Kansas City yesterday. The sidewalks and parking lots were slicker than snot! Thanks goodness they pretreated the roads. The snow started here this morning with 9-16 inches predicted by tomorrow morning. We are also under a blizzard warning. I think all schools are canceled here today and many businesses are as well. They predicted that everyone could probably make it to work, it was making it home from work that would be difficult...LOL...no one wants that! I'm ready for spring too! |
It's really cold, and it's a long slog through the snow to work. But, seeing Mady bounce around in the snow loving it makes me love it too. I do anything for my baby, and that includes heading out there, ball in hand, when it's -20 (-5 F) to play with her for an hour. |
