So sorry I was so upset when my rescue Suzie didn't get along with Rosie and we so liked her but she has a great home where she's the only dog...the right one will come along...there are so many needing homes. I feel your disappointment |
I'm sorry that the shelter didn't see it from your eyes. Thank you for trying. Morgan has gone to a good place and another lucky dog will get you! |
I've been checking this section throughout the day. I've been disappointed a couple of times too so I know exactly how you're feeling. I am SO sorry. It's so easy to fall in love and form a bond with a dog's picture and story... even more so if we finally meet them. Give yourself some time to mourn but don't give up your hope of finding a dog that better matches Oliver's activity level. The hurt from this disappointment will fade if you can bring in a girl or boy that enjoys playing and interacting the way Oliver does. I hadn't planned on bringing in another boy (at one time we only had girls!!) but Bumble and Kobuck have been a blessing to each other... it took time for Kobuck to learn Bumble's limits but they really do share a form of play that both enjoy. It doesn't say whether Pepper enjoys the company of other dogs... you might give them a call unless you have your hearts set on a girl. I think that boy will be handsome when his coat is evened up. You might also think about putting in an application with the Wisconsin OES rescue or Midwest OES Rescue in Minnesota... if they don't have a match now, the may in the near future. http://midwestoesrescue.com |
I am sorry! I agree with Jaci though, I would certainly contact Midwest OES Rescue! |
Sorry to hear about Morgan. Maybe it's a little too soon, but I wonder if Pepper is still available (terrier cut and all). |
I am so sorry. We also had a "close call" with another sheepie before we got Rudy. I know how sad you must be. It probably doesn't help a lot, but just know that there is the perfect sheepie waiting for you out there...you'll find each other. We will all keep our fingers and paws crossed for you here in Winnipeg. |
I'm so sorry to hear that things didn't turn out. Crossing fingers that the "right" sheepie shows up soon. |
I am so sorry to see this, I know you were really hoping to get her. I'll echo Jaci, give yourself some time to mourn, but don't give up. There is a sheepie rescue out there that will be a great match for your family. |
what about Bunny that is in foster?? I am sure that you will find the perfect playmate for Oliver. keeping my |
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ yes bunny |
Thank you for your support all. I am devistated and will take a little while to move on. I need to take her picture off of my screensaver too. How do I apply with the Midwest Rescue? I really feel bad for my daughter who had her heart sent on her for a snuggler She will be Ok though. I just keep telling her it wasn't ment to be. She is getting it, but taking it personnally at the same time Traci |

Approved adopters get 1st choice of dogs that are a match for their family. Good luck |
