Max
He had a calm night sleeping uner my son's bed...his favourite place. This morning, he was very weak and had that same look in his eyes that Sammy did when she told me it was time for her to go. If he had given me any encouraging sign at all, I would have waited the weekend but I knew in my heart that I had to do what is right for him. It was so heartbreaking to have to go through this again. Max, my darling boy, go to Sammy...she is waiting for you with love. You two crazy pups will be young again and you can have Puppy Olympics again. We will all be together again one day... Love you so much.   |

| Thank you so very much for all of your kind words. I truly appreciate the caring and support of the members of OES.org It has been a very rough week and we are all grieving. There are reminders of Max everywhere in the house. Sometimes I think I can catch him out of the corner of my eye. He was a little dog but with such a huge personality! His love and devotion to all of us for 16 years is something we will remember and treasure always. I take comfort in that he is now reunited with Sammy and they will both be waiting for us when our time comes to leave this mortal life. To me, dogs are proof positive that there is a loving God. Please give your darlings a big hug and kiss for me. I am now for the first time in my life without a dog by my side. I hope you will still allow me to participate and visit on this board as I will be living vicariously through you and your puppers. Love and Peace. Janet  |
