What should oes.org do with its ability to post to facebook?

Some may remember how "Dogs in Trouble" used to automatically tweet (before twitter changed their authentication scheme) when people created a NEW post? Well, that's the ability we have now. The forum can create fb posts (and comments) automatically.

So now the questions come. How should oes.org handle this ability? :lmt:
Should I create multiple oes.org pages on fb -- one for the "Dogs in Trouble" section, one for the "Pictures" section and so forth?
Should we create a new section in the forum for Cutest Pics of the Day/Week/Minute/whatever?
What about for General Chit Chat and Food for Thought?

You guys have really helped push this along :hearts: -- don't fade on me now! These are the difficult decisions, and I'm really at sea without you. Novice as well as experienced Facebookers' ideas and thoughts are equally eagerly desired!

Thanks in advance for your help.

a lot of my friends are very into re-posting dogs in trouble posts. I think 1) a page for that would be a big help to the dogs, as it would get a lot of traffic and 2) it might help boost the people that visit OES.org . But so that its not a constant downer, I think we continue to post when the dogs are out of trouble; happy tails sort of things. So and So is missing, needs adopting, needs funds raised for vet care, etc. And later, So and So has been adopted.

I also like the idea of cute OES photos, but I think it can't be just any photo. Or else every time one of us posted a picture of our grooming room or flower garden, it would be in Facebook. And then you have to ask, who judges them and by what criteria? Maybe we can have a cute dog thread, and with a poll of users pick the cutest of the day/week?
I personally think what would be the point to a general board on fb because then there would be no reason to come here. I like the other ideas though. I'd rather draw people here since I'm like barney on her post of remaining anonymous. That or making groups private so your posts don't show on other peoples newsfeeds and you can post freely. All my baby boards are all private for that reason.

I realize you want to gain members, but I imagine those with sheepie friends will personally link this site/or the fb page, so you draw in the right people. I think MOST people wouldn't post if they knew their real name was being associated to everything esp. "general chat" stuff. I have only liked to share when I give to someone ...not what they somehow gained access to due to my stupidity of not covering my tracks (okay, so i'm venting a little here with a present ANNOYANCE I'm having with a few people on my friends list) ;)
See, I disagree. Everyone in our little niche industry knowns Adam and I are Sheepdog crazy. Fans and professionals will ask us how the dogs are, and if they are coming to any conventions with us. So I just sent our professional friends messages to check out OES.org on FB. They aren't the sort of people that would normally go to OES.org on their own. But they might friend the FB page because I sent it to them. Then, if it shows up in their news feed regularly, maybe they can help with a foster dog in need, or something that maybe if it wasn't showing up daily in their FB page, they wouldn't have known about or bothered with.
I think a 'Dogs in Trouble' a 'Picture Page' and the regular page would be a good start. I am not sure that general chit chat page would be a good idea if you want to attract people to join the forum. Maybe start with those and see if you notice growth. If there is too much on FB people might think that there is no real need to come here. JMO
My vote:

Dogs in Trouble
Sheepdog Rescue Clubs and Orgs
Pictures
Antics
TOES Tarheel Old English Sheepdogs has a facebook page also. They have someone make a post on the Home page if they add a new OES for rescue and sometimes info about dogs finding homes. You just click on their symbol and it takes you to their webpage for more info. We could do the same on posts of dogs needing help etc...
