Save yourself from the cornstarch step. It will not clean the brown, just cover it slightly until it gets wet again. Try using an enzymatic whitening shampoo like EZ Groom Crystal White Shampoo. Follow the directions - though dilute minimally. After washing and before drying, use a color sealer to close the cuticle of the hair shaft to slow down re-staining. Chris Christensen makes one called After U Bathe. I wash every day or a couple of times a day until the stain is lifted. It will go yellow after a wash or two but keep going - it will become white again. Wash daily (at least) until it is white again. Or, you can trim it off. |
