The cast is off!!
      I know many people have it much worse than my last 6 weeks have been, but this really drove me cuckoo. Couldn't drive, couldn't walk, couldn't take care of my house and husband (and had to be taken care of in reverse), couldn't host Thanksgiving dinner, etc., etc., etc. Hated being so totally dependent on everyone else for everything. Hopefully my whining is done as I return to my normal life. Still have to wear a brace for a short time but at least it's removable. Traded in my walker for a cane, and will start PT shortly. AND - Hawaii, here we come!! YIPPEE!!!!!!!!! |

| Woo Hoo!!!! I was soo happy to not need to use crutches too. And I absolutely sympathise with you on how annoying it is not to be able to do all the stuff you want. Have a great vacation. |
| Congrats Chris!! I'm glad today happened, the cast is really GONE! When is Hawaii? Make sure you are really careful outside. The freezing rain is supposed to be coming thru here tonight....just dreading it. |

| Don't worry, all - I'm being VERY careful with every little step I take, inside OR out!! I'm going to Hawaii come hell or high water!! Our trip is from Jan 18-27. So I'll be able to get 2 or 3 weeks of PT in beforehand. Now all I have to worry about is the weather! |
