But it was Tiggy who really got into the Christmas spirit of overindulgence. She discovered; almost certainly with the help of Rowdy (based on past efforts); that Wayne hadn't put the lid back on Rastus's kibble tin properly. So she helped herself to an awful lot of Proplan sensitive skin and stomach while we were out. Unless she stood guard over it and refused the other two access she was the one who really made a piggy of herself. He stomach was rather bulging. So it was not a great night for us as I took her to bed with us in case she bloated during the night. She huffed and puffed and paced and chased the cat, and nudged us to get her a drink - NO WAY. She she went and licked up what water was in the bottom of the shower and then jumped on the bed and stuck a cold wet beard in my ear. Around 4 am she pooped in the corridor, I'd given up paying attention to her nudges by then because she'd been asking for more water. Wayne did the male thing and slept through the smell and the clean up. Obviously the poop relieved some of the pressure because she was much happier and wanted to go out. She was back to her usual crazy, bouncy self this morning when I got up and is now catching up on missed sleep while I sit on the couch looking like something the cat dragged in. I do not do well without my 8 hours sleep. I might just have to go and have a nap too. Tiggy has already blogged her side of the story. http://tiggy-tigster.blogspot.com/2010/12/christmas-and-overindulging.html |

I read Tiggy's blog and I don't think she sees things the same way mama does. How did you manage to clean up the mess with you sore hip? Amazing how the male species can sleep thru certain things isn't it? |

Oh Tiggy! She probably doesn't even hold a grudge that you didn't give her water or let her out to do her business . . . I'm glad she's ok. |
No she doesn't appear to be holding a grudge, she was very puzzled at the lack of water but not grumpy. She made up for it this morning and drank heaps though. |
