I cant download any pics
i try since month!! to download any pics of us but it just doesnt work. Does anyone got the same problem and which problem could it be???? PS: we are fine! Max moved back home, he didnt liked living with 9 other people so we are looking for a flat for him on its own and Charlie is very well too!! xx  |

| I do click "Browse" and get pic after pic then I click "continue" and then "The connection was reset" appears every single time! - there is on option which says "if your computer is protectec by a firewall make sure that Firefox is permitted to download" that's the only thing I could imgine. But how do I check or find a firewall?? ... that livingsituation with Max was a bit sad but the people who lived there werent really very sociably and also they smoked a lot and Max got Asthma. He couldnt stand going out of his room and the whole place smell like smoke! But he got a girlfriend now where he's happy and he's also spending xmas with her xx |
hmm, can't help you on that one, need someone more tech savvy than me, also I don't have firefox.  I wouldn't like the living situation either - all that smoke would make me sick. Good news about the new girlfriend though! ...I'd ask for pictures but....  |
| once I'm able to download pics I will send you some. ... also I had a new haircut done! My hair is short now, a bit like Meg Ryan if you can imagine me. My hairdresser said it would look better on me than the long hairs and it would make me 10 years younger. He was right, everyone who saw me were exited and told me how young I would look. So I keep the hair as it is now! .... hope I can post some pics soon ....???!!! |
| Are you talking about the oes.org photo gallery ( http://photos.oes.org/ ) ? If yes, here are some things to try: 1) Try one pic at a time. 2) When you see the error message, hold down the SHIFT key on your keyboard at the same time you click your browser's "Refresh" button. |
| Thanx Ron you're a star!!!! you were right with pressing the shift button before I refresh! That's new to me! ... and I had to download one at a time, sometimes 2 were ok. Why did this change ??? Is it my computer or the system with oes.org? Anyway, thanks again and I will post all my pics later as I'm going now to my xmas party!! xx    |

| The shift key with the refresh button tells your browser to fetch the page from oes.org's server, even if your browser thinks it has the most current page. Sometimes the browsers get confused and "cache" pages inappropriately. As far as how many you can send at one time, it a depends on the speed of your Internet connection to oes.org. The upload have to finish in a certain amount of time, I think it is 5 minutes, unless your browser is set to "time out" sooner. Glad it's working!! |
