I've practiced the loop stitches. Luckily, as I got the first row of loop stitch I tried wrong, got my head around knitting with two different strands of wool, one doubled up, and was all started on the real deal when Miss Tiggy got bored. She had been a good sheepie girl sleeping in behind the floor to ceiling drapes. One of her favorite places. But she woke up and decided that I was far too intent on what ever nonsense I was involved in. So she came over and sat next to me for ...... oh a good 10 seconds or so. Then she decided that I should stop whatever it was I was doing and pat her. She gave a big sheepie sigh, I said hello but didn't pat her so I got the big head nudge in the elbow and dropped 4 stitches. It's taking me ages to fix. I'm hopeless at picking up dropped stitches. Tiggy got in trouble and has gone to her other favorite sleeping place and is fast asleep and looking angelic. |

Oh Tiggy! She had to try and divert you The project sounds fun - good luck! |
I thought Tiggy was bad!!! Every time I turn my back Rowdy cat takes off with the knitting in his mouth, knitting needle and all It's dead annoying I've gotta grab the crutches and take off after him. |
Rowdy and Tiggy are in cahoots together. Rowdy sneaks in for the grab and run an Tiggs rolls up for the ear rub. Looking forward to seeing ur completed project. |
Tiggy was checking on you, hehehe and Rowdy is in charge of the physical Therapy heheehehe Get better soon !! |
Before we got Farley, our 2nd oes, and Tripper, I did counted cross stitch. The 1st oes, Apache, never bothered it. I learned real fast that puppies and floss do not go hand in hand. Had forgotten I had it all in my basket next to my chair. Next thing I knew they were playing tug of war and everything else with my project. I have not done it since. |
