Smelly pee pee can also be a sign of a urinary track infection - which can be common in females who get urine caught in their back hair as you explained. We keep the hair around the private parts short and also wipe with a baby antiseptic/antibacterial wipe twice a day |
thats what I was worried about, some type of infection. But it was just the hair hanging down to low and getting pee on it. Havent had a problem since I trimmed that hair. |
Yeah, they can smell bad if they continue to pee on themselves. Good you figured it out! It's not really a place where barrettes or hair bands will work very well. By the way, your Christmas pictures are great! |
I have this with my yorkshire terrier. I got these really good pet wipes from the pound shop, 20 in the pack. I used one this morning on Tilly and noticed on the back of the packet it said you could put them in the microwave for 10 seconds to warm them up. She appreciated a nice warm wipe round her girly bits! |
