Comment from the Canadian Malamute Rescue: Quote: We at the Alaskan Malamute HELP League are so grateful for this fund, and for Zeus' family and their kindness. It is heartbreaking when we have to turn a dog away from lack of funds. Zeus' loving memory will give new life to malamutes in rescue. Bless you all. - Duffy Taylor - National AMHL Rescue Coordinator Comment from Zeus' owner, Grip: Quote: So far in 24 hrs we have raised over $600. I'm hoping to get a radio spot this week to get the fund advertised. |
Mark, Sorry if I missed it (I have the memory of a gnat), but what's your connection to Zeus? |
He's the dog of a member of the Camaro forum I frequent. The owner shared many pictures/videos/stories of Zeus. He kind of became the forum's official dog and official mascot. The story of Zeus affected me very deeply, as it did most other people on that board. I'm pretty sure no other thread on a forum affected me the way that one thread did. The same sentiment was echoed my many other forum members, as well. I cross posted Zeus' story here and on the Airedale forum so that Zeus' owner would know that dog owners all over the world grieve with him & support him. |
