Amazing, loveable English Sheepdog needs a stable, loving home. He is just shy of two years old, potty trained, and well behaved.

I have raised him since he was a pup, and it breaks my heart to have to do this, but I feel that I must sacrifice the companionship and love he offers me, so that he may be in the environment he needs. Note, he has NOT been in an abusive environment whatsoever - just the opposite. He has had a loving home and healthy, active life with me thus far. I simply cannot afford to take care of him any longer, and my mother is terminally ill on the other side of the country, so I am traveling there frequently to be with her.

About Willie: he is affectionate, playful and sweet. He has not an aggressive bone in his body, and is not a barker or biter. He is young and does have a lot of energy, but nothing a few walks and some play time in the park can't help him release. When he is at home he likes to be near people - maybe just in the same room, and plays quietly to himself with his toys. He loves to have his belly and ears scratched, and has a very goofy character that will make you laugh out loud. He is social with other dogs as well as people and does not lunge, growl or snap.

Finding a home for him is the hardest thing I have ever had to do, but I'm left with no choice at this point. Please be prepared to provide references and for a thorough interview, preferably first by phone and then at your home. Stable income and living environment is a MUST.

Please respond with an email telling me about yourself, your situation and why you are looking for a pet like Willie! A photo or two would be helpful, too - basically the more you can tell me about yourself/family, the better.

Me too- heard back from the owner. Sad situation:( I know a perfect family for him but they're out of town right now.. They live nearby so that would work for owner ( to keep in touch, etc etc) They did inquire about the one in mOrro bay ( i thinkkk) but learned that she wasnt good with kids. Hopefully the third is the charm! Fingers crossed for willie to find a happy and safe home!!
