They had it set up with UKC equipment. There were hoops like a tunnel, there was a bridge and swinging platform and some little jump thingies. I thought Simon would freak. He's very hesitant doing new things. I have to say I'm proud of my boy. A little coaxing and he did great. He fell in love with the swinging platform and did it again and then again just for fun. And just a "little" brag. On one of our first runs, I heard comments of "WOW, look at him run" and "He's doing really good", there were some other comments but because I was concentrating on what Simon and I were doing that I didn't catch them. One of these days I am going to have to bite the bullet and start entering in Agility trials. |

Go for it! You both might end up enjoying the competitive aspect of it. |
Yep, UKC agility has many different items than other agility. We do UKC conformation, obedience, weight pull - but not agility. Good Simon for adjusting! |
Pam - I would do CPE before UKC agility. UKC is REALLY controlled. Almost obedience like. Catch my drift here...? Speaking of trials, Hounds is next weekend (Uhlein). 5-6 OES entered most days. Stop by if you can. Miss seeing you guys! Kristine |
Kristine....figures that I work this next weekend. I miss you and the "girls" too. |
