Max is 16!!!

Our Westie Max has reached the grand old age of 16!! He is still very active and playful. Though sometimes the body can't keep up with the spirit. He's lost most of his hearing and can't see too well in the dark and shadows. But other than that, he is extremely healthy and hardy. He had a piece of his favorite carrot cake with cream cheese icing and as a special treat...a beef shank bone. He was so stunned that he carried it in his mouth and walked around for an hour drooling before he was convinced Sammy's ghost was not going to steal it from him. He was up all night working on it and finally fell asleep at 5am exhausted. It was like doggie crack cocaine, hehe!!
